Ben's 16th and 17th weeks

If I were truly a competent doting mother, then I would have had the camera battery charged so that we could document Ben's visit with his Gran and Da over Mother's Day. However, I am not particularly good at this doting mother business and that first Mother's Day is lost to posterity.

However, we do have adorable pictures of smiling Ben and of Ben cuddling with his Daddy. And some video of the boy laughing his head off. So that should make up for the lack of Mother's Day goodies.

The boy still has his blue eyes. Maybe they're going to stay that way.


And he has a killer smile.


He loves spending time with the Fuzzy Guy.



And is just generally an adorable little beastie.


He's also gotten more adventurous, making trips down to Chinatown with his mom. I think he's forming an appreciation for the traditional music you hear people playing in the park down on Bayard Street. At least I think it's Bayard St.


He has declared war on the evil monkey on his gym.


He has figured out how to make the musical doggy make lots of annoying noises.


And he likes playing with his furry sister.
